Who we are

What we collect and why

When you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address and message. When you request engineering samples, we also receive your company name and, if you give it, the quantity you need. We use this only to answer your enquiry or sample request and follow up on it, for example with a quote, a datasheet or an order confirmation.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(b)).

We don't use your data for newsletters or marketing unless you ask us to. We don't sell it or share it with anyone else.

Who processes it

Messages are sent by email to our mailbox at Google Workspace (Google Ireland Ltd.), which processes them on our behalf. Google may process data outside the EU under the EU standard contractual clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. The website is hosted by Nordicway in Denmark.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries as long as we need them to handle the enquiry and any business that follows. Enquiries and sample requests that don't lead to further contact are deleted no later than 2 years after our last contact.

Cookies and statistics

This website sets no cookies and uses no tracking code. Like most websites, our host Nordicway keeps standard server logs of each visit: IP address, pages viewed, time, referring page and browser type. We use these logs only to keep the site secure and working, and to see aggregate visitor statistics, such as how many visits a page gets. The logs are not used to identify you or combined with other data, and they are deleted automatically after a limited period. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we process it, and to receive it in a portable format. Email jannick@aalpowergroup.com and we'll reply within one month.

If you think we handle your data incorrectly, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet) at www.datatilsynet.dk.
